Texas Ambulance Association Code of Ethics

This Code of Ethics for members of the Texas Ambulance Association has been adopted to promote and maintain the highest ethics of service and personal conduct among its members.  Adherence to those ethics is required for membership in the association, and serves to assure public confidence in the integrity and service of its membership.

As a member of the Texas Ambulance Association, I pledge myself to:

  • Maintain the highest standard of personal conduct;

  • Promote and encourage the highest level of ethics within the ambulance industry and the Texas Ambulance Association;

  • Maintain loyalty to the Texas Ambulance Association and pursue its objectives in ways that are consistent with the public interest;

  • Recognize and discharge my responsibility and that of the Texas Ambulance Association to uphold all laws and regulations relating to my profession and association's policies and procedures;

  • Strive for excellence in all aspects of management of my business and my association;

  • Always communicate Texas Ambulance Association internal and external assignments in a truthful and accurate manner;

  • Cooperate in every reasonable and proper way with the leadership of my association and work with them in the advancement of the professional ambulance service industry;

  • Use every opportunity to improve the public understanding of the role of the Texas Ambulance Association and the industry.
