Publishes Proposed EMS Regulation and EMS/Trauma System Rules

The EMS Regulation and EMS/Trauma System rules proposed by the Texas Board of Health at their January 2004 meeting were published today in the Texas Register @ http://www.sos.state.tx.us/texreg/sos/PROPOSED/25.HEALTH%20SERVICES.html#211 (scroll down to the section entitled, "Chapter 157. EMERGENCY MEDICAL CARE").
Comments on the proposal may be submitted to me in writing by mail (Kathryn C. Perkins, Chief, Bureau of Emergency Management, Texas Department of Health, 1100 West 49th Street, Austin, Texas 78756), fax (512/834-6736), or email (kathy.perkins@tdh.state.tx.us). The comment period will run through 2/27/2004.
