TAA Board Member Rachael Harracksingh has received word from Arnulfo Gomez, from the Texas Health and Human Services Commission, that THMP has resolved the ambulance claims issue. The problem centered around claims that were being  auto denied and suspended.  Testing by TMHP has been completed and claims have processed properly.

TMHP has indicted that they are going to run adhoc reports to determine which claims have been affected.

Rachael also reports that  TMHP software fix for emergency claims was successful on 6/24/04 and the fix will cover all new claims. TMHP is currently testing a mass adjustment fix for the older claims.
