Membership Elects Four New Directors, Names Replacement
Mr. Dennis Hebner, Mr. Ron Haussecker, Ms. Tracey Thomas and Mr. Jack
Pitcock were elected to the Texas Ambulance Association Board of
Directors.
Mr. Hebner is the
Director of Support Services for South Texas Emergency Care Foundation,
Inc. (STECF) in Harlingen. A private - not-for-profit, STECF provides
MICU ground ambulance, critical care ground ambulance, fixed wing, and
rotor wing service.
Mr Haussecker is the
Executive Director for Washington County EMS. A third service -
government
county, Washington County EMS provides ambulance
service for Washington
County as
the sole provider.
Ms. Tracey Thomas is the Vice
President Operations North Texas & Oklahoma for American Medical
Response in Dallas. American Medical Response is the nation’s
largest private medical transportation provider. In Texas, AMR operates
services in Dallas, Arlington, San Antonio, Austin and Houston.
Jack Pitcock
is the EMS Division Manager for
Baytown Health
Department EMS.
Baytown Health
Department EMS covers an area of about 60 square miles in and around the
City of Baytown, in Harris County. A municipal emergency medical
service provider, Baytown EMS has three paramedic staffed ambulances
24-hours per day and respond to over seven thousand requests for service
each year.
In addition, the Board named Mr. Darryl Quigley as the replacement
for Eric Hurt's uncompleted term. Mr. Quigley is a former President of
the TAA and is the owner of Texas Lifeline Corporation (T.L.C.). T.L.C.
Ambulance is a private ambulance company, providing medical transport in
Dallas and surrounding suburbs. Directors Vote in New
Officers Mr. Tony Meyers has been elected as President of
the Texas Ambulance Association. Mr Meyers is
the Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for ETMC EMS.
ETMC EMS covers an extensive portion of East Texas with the
area's largest fleet of ambulances, two helicopters and the state's most
comprehensive communications system. A former Fire Chief for the City of
Fort Wayne, IN, Mr. Meyers was most recently Vice-President for the TAA.
Mr. Meyers replaces Mr. Jim Lyons. Mr. John Brian was
elected as Vice-President.
