NewsAnnual Membership Meeting Round UpApr 23, 2012 The Texas Ambulance Association held our annual mermbership meeting and conference on South Padre Island. The meetings and educational offerings were a great success. Board elections were held in conjunction with the annual meeting of the membership. John Brian, Mark Mallory and Jaime Rios were all reellected to the TAA Board of Directors. There were many valuable topics presented during the educational portion of the conference. We heard updates regarding Medicaid, Medicare, as well as presentations from Brian Werfel and Novitas. There was also very helpful and informative question and answer sessions with many of the presenters including a scripted list of questions for our new fiscal intermediary, Novitas. You can find these questions and answers in a document called "Novita Q&A" on the left side of the home page. This annual event would not be possible without the work of a few key people. Be sure to let the members of the reimbursement committee and Ron Beaupre know how much we appreciate their efforts. |
